SAFETY COORDINATOR

PAY: $60-$70,000/yr

LOCATION: 77065

SHIFT: FIRST AND SECOND AVAILABLE!

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator to promote a safe and compliant work environment. This role is responsible for monitoring workplace safety in a manufacturing setting, conducting inspections, investigating incidents, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operations for compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
• Conduct facility inspections and safety audits to identify and correct hazards
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns and recommend corrective actions
• Provide safety training, guidance, and coaching to employees
• Ensure proper PPE use and safe work practices
• Maintain safety records, reports, and required documentation
• Assist with emergency response and communicate safety concerns to management

Qualifications

• Bilingual - fluent in English and Spanish
• 2+ years of safety, supervisory, or leadership experience
• 1+ year of industrial safety experience
• High school diploma or GED required; safety certifications a plus
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Microsoft Office and safety reporting experience preferred
• Able to stand, walk, and conduct facility inspections for extended periods
• Manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse experience preferred
